With experience in both landscape architecture and civil engineering, Anneliza’s work at OLIN focuses on the performance of integrated living and engineering systems and the coordination of infrastructure within public space. Leveraging the landscape value of infrastructural systems previously viewed as singularly engineering-based, Anneliza sees areas of disturbance as opportunity for design intervention that enhances both site performance and ecological exchange. Anneliza values the social nature of the profession, in both the workplace and in the spaces created through design, and strives to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.
Since joining OLIN in 2014, Anneliza has contributed to a number of urban design and master plan projects. She worked closely with the City of Alexandria as project manager for the design and implementation of an urban park space along the Alexandria Waterfront, and is currently working on the National Desert Storm Desert Shield Memorial in Washington, DC.
