OLIN is currently working with a development team on a proposal for the reuse of the former Copia Museum of Wine and Food Science, just across the river from downtown Napa. The plan retains the existing museum building but retrofits it for a mix of uses, including retail, office, event space, and a restaurant. A 180-room boutique hotel and multi-story housing will also be added to the site. Much of the existing garden landscape will be preserved and reimagined as a central public civic square, and an open space network consisting of a riverfront esplanade, shaded promenades and trails, and a large community garden will create a welcoming pedestrian-oriented environment.
