The renovation of Hill College House at the University of Pennsylvania, originally designed by Eero Saarinen and Dan Kiley, has earned the Award of Excellence from Docomomo US's Modernism in America Awards. The program recognizes "outstanding projects showcase the highest level of expertise and commitment to careful preservation methods while serving as strong testaments to the efficacy of grassroots efforts, and public and private partnerships." OLIN was the lead landscape architect on the renovation, which included both the exterior campus landscape and interior plantings, in collaboration with lead project architect Mills + Schnoering Architects and a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
