Partner
A Partner at OLIN since 2009, Hallie’s focus is the design and planning of award-winning landscapes that weave together nature and culture in the urban environment—including parks, waterfronts, plazas, and campuses. She is currently leading the design of the 11th Street Bridge Park, a community based destination park in Washington D.C., a redesign of the grounds of the Folger Shakespeare Library on Capitol Hill, and a master plan for the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Realized projects include the new U.S. Embassy in London, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum and Spirit of Women Park in Columbus, Ohio, and California Memorial Stadium and Plaza in Berkeley, California.
Hallie holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Art in Art History from Bucknell University. For three years, she led a studio at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design, which explored the potential of designed landscapes as catalysts to sustainably transform the culture and ecology of rural towns along the Czech-Austrian border. She has also been a guest critic at the University of Virginia, Morgan State University, and Temple University.
